Hi there, our names are Tony & Karen Cullen and we have been residents of Sussex Close for the past 9 years, so we have been very local to the pub for quite some time.  We have now been open for almost 6 months and things are going well.  Our food is starting to get a reputation for being of the highest quality whilst being affordable, it’s nothing less than the people of this area deserve, a nice warm place where good food and drink are always available and of course it is all British fare that we serve, one of the only places in Islington that serve food of our nation!

Our live music is also starting to get some good feedback as well, we recently had three live bands on the one night and it was a huge success with around 70 people here.  We only book top quality artists and we have more on the way very soon, (please keep an eye on the events page to see what is going on) we’re even having a beer festival - again details will be on the events page.

The pub is available for all kinds of events and we have now catered for a weddings, birthdays and funerals.  With the onset of summer and our new awnings, railings and cover for the back garden complete with heating and lighting we will be able to cater for much larger events.

We can bespoke most events down to the finest detail/personal request so if there is something you would like to have then please don’t hesitate to ask.  It’s your party have it your way!
