We are very proud to announce that we are launching our new Ale & Whisky bar on the 9th of April. In this bar we will have six top quality ales always on including one Porter & one Mild. The other four taps will host different ales from both well known brewers and some of the smaller more obscure brewers as delivered via the SIBA (Small Independent Brewers Association) direct delivery scheme.

We will have at least one ale from the Cornish brewer Skinners as we love their very well made beers and have warmed to the personal touch that you get when dealing with them. A good job well done by them and for that we will support them all the way!

Because we love ale so much and see it as the future of our pub we hope to build our name as one of London’s best suppliers of it and would love to grow our ale listing. So the more you guys come and join us for a pint the more variety we are able to give you. To help you frequent us more regularly we have a membership scheme when you sign up with us and every time you come along you will be able to enjoy 40p off a pint of ale, this offer will be available to all members all the time so it’s not just an introductory offer!!

Music
We have had lots going on in the live music front, we recently had three live acoustic acts play on the one night, the evening was a huge success.

The Open Mic Sessions
So you’ve learned how to play an instrument and you’re bored with Karaoke.  Or you’ve been writing a new stand up comedy routine, or you’ve written a poem that you feel needs to be aired.
Well here is your chance to show off your skills on anything you like. 
We will host an open mic night every Tuesday starting at 7.30 pm and finishing when the last person has played or 11.30 whichever is first.  We will try where possible to get every artist enough time to play at least three – or four songs, so if you are looking to get your original songs out in public or you’ve just learned your favourite cover then you are all welcome.  These evening will play host to both seasoned professional and novices alike so come along and bring your friends with you.

Wine Tasting
We will also have monthly wine tasting sessions where will get a selection of wines not currently sold in the pub, we will talk through each wine before moving onto the tasting.  Now contrary to other wine tasting events you will be able to drink the wine!  Moreover, should we find a wine that is simply too mouth watering not to have on sale full time it will be added to the menu permanently!

Monthly food themes
In order to keep our food selection and your choice of eating out fresh we will be having monthly food themes.  For example we will have Spanish Tapas, Italian pasta & West Indian theme nights to name but a few.  Have a theme suggestion?  Then use the feedback form on this site or come and see us in the bar, we want your feedback and we are very friendly!
