We only serve home cooked top quality food here at North Nineteen.  Our chef is excellent and keeps a tight control of quality ensuring that nothing is served that he would not be willing to eat and pay for himself, an ethos that is mirrored by the management.

To date we have been focusing on British only food as it seems no one else in Islington is doing that and British food is much better than people think, but we are about to revamp our menu completely, we will still keep strong links to British cuisine which will still form the majority of it but we will also include some continental influences.

Our Sunday roasts are getting the reputation they deserve now and we urge you to book your table for Sundays to avoid disappointment as they can be quite busy from around 3 o’clock onwards.  You can either e-mail or call, see the contact us page of this site.
